S Reg - 3.0 ltr Elite. Computer gives a warning - 'Headlight Field/Vision'. Can't find it in the Owners Handbook. Anyone know what it means ?

Either level sensors or servo motors.
Usually level sensor on front wishbone popped off

Full right lock and look behind the passenger side wheel. Easy peasy job :y

Not forgetting that there's another sensor at the back - same side. ;)

Ah, I can now see it but it looks solid enough. I'll drop it by the Vauxhall dealer tomorrow. Thanks again.

You can't put the back wheels on full right lock though ;D
Check the rear sensor too Maz, same side as said already :y

You must have deep pockets! :o
'My' dealer charges around £80 just to plug into Tech II. Each sensor is about £50 new, if you need them, but your problem could also be the level motors in the headlamps themselves.

It could still be a level sensor though. Your lights could be low cos the sensor is telling them to go low. Your car needs plugging into a code reader of some sort. Are you local to any of the Tech II's on the site?

Rather than let Camden screw you over, do a bit more checking first.
As (presumably) both lights are low, that means servos are OK, so its most likely a sensor issue.
Are the little arms still in place on the sensors?

I had this problem even though the sensor looked visibly ok the centre popped out when i touched it, a new front sensor sorted it though.

I too have this same issue although I dont need to put the headlights on for this warning to show its self. I've checked both links on the suspension armsv and all is well... would be interested to find out what you did to fix this in the end as its doing me head in now,,,,

Ideally get the codes read. Not sure what members are near you with code readers - Jimbob?

I have had this occasionally, fixed it by getting a nice man with a TechII to exercise the levelling motors for me.
If that doesn't work at least you will have a fault code to point you in the direction of the problem.
