Is there anyway of checking on fuel pump performances. I asked at my local dealer. Without seeing the vehicle suggestion was pump may be on way out.  :(yesterdays post explained symptons . I dont even know where pumps are on a 2.5 td It starts OK with jumpleads.

As I recall there is an issue with the 2.5TD when the fuel level in the tank falls below about a quarter, but no probs when the tank is more full?  Perhaps a TD type will advise better later....  :y
