Title: The New Omega?

Dear All,

Is this really the new Omega which is being launched in the UK at some point in the near future?

I work for a company that supplies various items for various auto manufactoring companies and we have been invited to a certain place to discuss certian componants, cannot say too much, but these are the photos we were given, these photos are not secret as they have been around since 2005, and were released in 2006 as it was going to be the new omega, that was put on hold until now, info says this car will be in production by mid 2008.

i believe that particular one in your photo is the latest holden commodore, and "omega" is one of its trim levels

i believe that particular one in your photo is the latest holden commodore, and "omega" is one of its trim levels

You're right, and it was described as 'Poverty Spec' in one of the reviews we saw.  >:(

yep, the GLS of the commodore!! i dont think the "omega" trim was a direct link to the vauxhall omega

And lets hope they introduce some improvements particarly with regards to the interior and loose this awful soft touch  rubber coated nonesense that's all over switches and trim parts , I have passed various bits of info' over to Vauxhall which has apparently been passed on to the design engineers, I just hope they take people's comments on board and produce an overall better car.

Looks nice. I'll have to wait for it to depreciate though. It'll be proper wheel drive i hope or i won't want one. :-/
