Whilst playing with Pc based diagnostics and looking in the alarm section it showed a fault saying " 125 Horn Circuit Open " ... as far as i am aware it works fine .
Any ideas ?

Was this against the alarm/central locking ECU?

It was in " anti theft warning " section .

I know the horn works fine ... is there a away of setting of the power sounder deliberatly :y

Lol, the alarm has the power sounder AND a hor....the horn is seperate from the horns on the steering wheel

Lol yes i understand the horn is separate ::).... how can i set of the alarm to check the power sounder ... would opening with the key rather than the fob do it :y

Disconnect the battery.
Really.
It is there simply to sound if a thief disconnects the battery to stop the "normal" horn going.
If you wish to disconnect the battery WITHOUT the alarm sounder going offf, you must do so within 20 seconds of turning the ignition off.
