Title: filler cap stuck

Gents, i've just rocked up to the filling station and found that the filler cap wont open. Obviously this will be linked to the central locking so something has gone a miss. Are there any tips on getting it open without snapping the locking bolt?
Wouldn't mind but its on the red so need to get it open and filled up asap.

pull out the boot inner side trim & operate manually for now :y
