Title: Leaking radiator on V6
Post by: jack2uk on 27 March 2009, 17:04:35
Hi, The rad on my 2.5 v6 has a bad leak, i need to top up about 1 litre every 2 days, its had a small leak for a few years but has got worse in the last few months.
Do you think its worth trying Rad Weld? i have heard that this can cause other problems to the pipes etc on the cooling system.

Any advice or comments appreciated.
Thanks

Do not use radweld.  This product does exactly what it says - blocks small holes - but it also blocks waterways around the engine and can and does cause problems afterwards.

Try PMing one of the regular breakers on here, I'd say Elite Pete is your closest and I'm sure he's got one :y
