First thing first:
Fuelconsumption will increase. Your filters will need replacement more often then driving on "regular" diesel.
Besides this, bio diesel normally contains 5% normal diesel I think it is. Arrest me if Im wrong.

The Rover was a £250 banger so I wasn't too worried if it disagreed violently ::) but it kept on going and the only difference was that it was abit spluttery when cold, but when she warmed up :y

Someone told me that it depends on the injector pump, apparently Bosch pumps are more robust and more forgiving to what you feed them!

I think that I'd be more careful with a decent car tho! :)

i used to run my 1993 astra 1.7td van on it during the warmer summer months using a 90% new pure veggi oil and 10% diesel mix it used to run fine on it took a little longer to start in the morning but never noticed and power or ecomny issus at all just the stink of veggie oil on hard acceleration. i was not worried about the van as it was old but i had no problems at all. it is a weird feeling the first time you tip the oil in though  :D , i used to pour the oil n then nip just down the road to the petrol station and put the diesel in then give it a mix up on the way back.
as for putting it into your car i probibly would not lol

oh and forgot to add if your using used oil the is a bit of a lengthy process to filter it and get the moisture out . the is more processing that can be done to turn it into proper bio fuel. dont forget diesels used to say heay oil as fuel type on the log book not diesel  ::)

What's to be gained by using bio-diesel anyway?

Personally, I'd stick with 'non-supermarket' regular diesel and leave well alone.
