Title: remote locking fob not working?

when i got the car and the fobs had no batteries in. thanx to the site i now have the batteries and little red lights flashing.

i went and sat in the car put key to position 2 and pressed the buttons on the fob.

when pressing the bigger of the fob buttons the interior light flashed 4 times. this happened a couple of times then i pressed and held the bigger button the light flashed 4 times and then nothing?

no light flashing now and no remote locking?

help please!!! :-?

Sorry, I don't know enough about your system.

Early Omegas (like yours) have IR central locking.  Later ones (from mid 1995 onwards) have more advanced RF central locking.

I meant to add, always point out in your posts that yours is the IR type, else people tend to assume its the later RF type :y

ik i actually didnt know there was a difference, thanks for pointing that out.

anyway its alive! its working! it functions!!!

not sure Martin Imber can do IR types
