Title: 2.5 > 3.0 Cruise control

Im now in posession of a 99' MV6 3.0, im breaking my 96 2.5 Elite for spares so i thought i would use the cruise control from the Elite and put it in the MV6

Only problem i can see is that where the cruise module would sit on the 2.5 there is what i can only assume is a waterpump on the 3.0 ?

How would i go about fitting it ?

i don't know where cruise control would sit on an mv6 but surely it could be bolted to the engine bay arywhere that its not going to strain the cable or interfear with anyother moving or hot parts

 On my 99 Elite the control box (where the extra throttle cable comes from) is fixed to the drivers side inner wing.

mount the cruise, then mod the pump bracket to mount on cruise - worked for me

Check the howtoo in the maintenance guide.  Covers that very problem....   :y
