Can anyone help me? I have just being doing a general inspection and checking fluid levels etc to find i have creamy gunge all down the inside of the oil filler pipe and water dripping of the cap what is the possible cause for this??

The mayo is probably caused by condensation at the top of the pipe, and nothing to worry about. If you do short journeys then a build up occurs a long run should clear it

Condensation caused by short runs.  Normal on V6s.

Clean out & check/clean breathers.

ohhhh thanks that's a sy of relief i do alot of short journeys new job on my door step nearly thank everyone :)

Short journeys = oil change every 3-4K :y

Would suggest giving your car a Long Run, now and then, to enable ALL, to reach working temperature. (prevention better than cure).
This is what I have to do as we only travel short distances now. Due to our age, not the car.

 :)i will be doing so from now on thanks everyone for your input and help. I'm going to sort out the breathers on the weekend change rocker head seals as i am sure they need doing and an all round good/deep service.

I'm so glad it wasn't anything terminal "fingers crossed touch wood"and all that jazz LOL :)

are there  anythings that i should do while the strip down is being done that are recommended?????
