Title: bolt sizes

had work done and the cover underneath the engine was removed hardly any of the bolts were replaced . its flapping about . any body know what size the bolts are. cheers :y

They are normaly a hex headed self tapping type affair (I would guess about a No 8 screw size) with a washer.

I'm sure that these bolts are the same as the self-tapping bolts used to affix 'box-profile' roofing sheets!

I've just not refitted the under-tray on mine - easy to spot potential oil leaks etc.

They are the same as those that hold the heat shield in place. Sorry, just another bit of useless info! ::) ::) ;)

I'm sure that these bolts are the same as the self-tapping bolts used to affix 'box-profile' roofing sheets!

I've just not refitted the under-tray on mine - easy to spot potential oil leaks etc.

It should be refitted - apparently can assist in preventing overheating!  Also stops objects getting thrown up into aux belt!

Which ones?

They should be a stud on the under body and a bolt!

Unless the stud has sheared and somebody has used one of these to fix it.  :y
