Can anyone help me? I need to replace the rear coil springs on my facelift 2000 3.0 elite, can anybody tell me the best place to get them (for a reasonable price). I've seen them on ebay but I just wondered if someone has a bit of 'local knowledge' or recommendations?
All advice gratefully received.

Have you got self levelling shocks on that still?
-
Yep, got the self levelling shocks.
-
ive got a set ere
-
That sounds promising, do you want to get rid?
-
yeah ,im lowering my o3 3.2 ex police ,so the old springs will be comin out!
-
Will a set off a 3.2 fit on my 3.0, and are they standard ones as i'm not looking to upgrade mine?
-
yea they are standard ones in great condition...post a question and fin out if the 3.2 springs fit,and we can take it from there!!
-
Ok i'll do that now. I need to get off to work now so i'll have a look tomorrow and see what turns up. Cheers

Elite will have self leveling suspension and the explod probably wont.....so there NOT the same.
KYB do springs for the self leveling setup.

KYB
shocks springs(!) - part number RJ6227.
http://www.buypartsby.co.uk do them at £32.77 +vat each - I got a quote off them for my 2.6 elite facelift with self levelling suspension a couple of days ago. The KYB online catalogue lists them as suitable, though it took some hunting (and reading another thread!).

Just got back from 2 weeks away and my coil springs have turned up from ZF Trading UK Ltd - these are specific for Omega 3.2 with self levelling suspension (well it says so on the box but not got around to opening it yet). A lot more expensive than the KYB apparently at £58 plus VAT each. Local garage will fit for £78.

Part numbers please :y
-
Part number for ZF (Boge) rear coil springs for 3.2 V6 self levelling is 25E490
-
If you put that part number into the ZF webcat advanced search it comes back with a rear spring for an Omega A estate.......

Will have to see what situation is when old springs come off but text on Delivery Note from ZF states "Spring Opel,Vaux' C'ton, Omega LevSusp Rr". ZF read back self levelling when I gave registration number which they needed to cross check.
-
Indeed it does which explains why I could not find any springs from the ZF group at all under the Omega application
-
ZF Springs fitted by VX today - charged 1 hour labour - apparently everything fine but never sure who is doing job and if they know their a**e from their elbow. I did not collect til 6pm so no time to ask questions.
Therefore assume all ok with this part number - of course if it is possible to fit the wrong springs (and VX just fitted what I gave them)then my report on this maybe inconclusive but ZF delivery did say for "self levelling suspension". Fingers crossed - seems ok.
