I have seen someone on here saying that it is the best ( of its kind ) ( with my ongoing coolant leak I might as well drain it all and replace ) so 2 questions
1 why is it better than the others ?
2 where can you buy it please.
Any help as always gratfully appreciatted .

about £10 from dealer for 5l. Needs to be mixed 50:50, so thats enough for 10l :y

"Blue" antifreeze or Monoethylene glycol contains silicates, nitrates & phosphates to act as corrosion inhibitors whereas the pink/red contains organic additives.
Without silicates, silicate gel or "green goo" does not form. By eliminating phosphates, hard water scale is reduced.
Without silicates, phosphates, nitrates, nitrites and borates, abrasive dissolved acids are greatly reduced thereby diminishing water pump seal failures.
Without amines and nitrites, there is no potential formation of nitrosamines.
All of this results in a considerably longer life span, whilst providing improved protection of all cooling system metals, including aluminium. Benefits over conventional silicate based coolants are:
Improved water pump life due to reduced water pump seal wear.
Fewer abrasive dissolved solids.
Reduced hard water scale.
Virtually no deterioration of heat transfer capacity during service life.
Excellent protection against high temperature and pitting corrosion. No silicate gel formation during storage or use.
Effective long-term corrosion protection for aluminium, brass, cast iron, steel, solder and copper alloys. Long effective service life of up to 10 years or 150,000 miles.
The two types of coolant should not be mixed. Vehicles filled with MEG will have coolant coloured blue, green or yellow. MEG with organic additives will have coolant coloured pink/red. :)

Absolutely, but I think the Vx stuff is not like the early reds in the way it reacts with the older types. Obviously, no benefits gained until purely red coolant in there.
Mind you, Vx also state its good for 5yrs, but you'd be daft to leave it in that long ;D

Thanks for the relies chaps , TB , sorry for stipid question but is that the capacity ( 10 Ltrs ) of the car water system wise ?

I used the red vauxhall coolant and it gave me two leaks, none of which I had with the old coolant, so the new mix must have found the weak spots. :'(
Oh not good :-[ I was just thinking ahead for when I find the leak ( our joint problem ! ) next week

It's about 6 litres mate, to fill the system up

Use the other 4 to top up with after the leaks start ;D
