Post by: Martin_1962 on 10 April 2009, 12:55:53
OK got EPC printout

Got cooler - 2
Lid - 3
4 washers - 15

I do not have seal - 6

I think I have 2 x seals - 4

EPC says I do not need seal 6 for 2.6 ::)

Reference drawing?

You should have

Cooler
Cooler plate
2 rubber O rings
2 new nuts

There in the 'kit'

You should also have 4 metal O rings for the cooler pipes

In addition there are 4 dowty washers for the coolant bridge at the rear of the heads.

Kit was lid and cooler.

4 washers and gunge from VX

so need coolant bridge washers, 2 nuts, 2 seals.

What about the seal between lid & block?

Grey Sealant Vx Part Nş 93165267 @ around £7 on TC.  You'll need a mastic gun to apply it & let it go off for 24 hours before refilling system.
