Title: vent selector failure

i cant seem to change the vent selector setting? it seems to be stuck on windscreen setting :P

any ideas? ;)

all help greatly needed :y

sounds like the pull cable has come off /snapped at the back of control knob :-/

M reg will be manual heating controls. Vac operated iirc, so check the engine vac pipes, then if no joy, start checking behind dash vac

Sorted that very problem this past weekend. As already suggested it was a vacuum problem.

Mine was a broken connection in the engine bay, where the small diameter Vac pipes are T'eed into the main brake servo pipe.
