hello all!
i've got for sale a 1999 omega cdx saloon 2.5 v6. it's in black , and has 139,000 miles on.
has 12 months Mot , 4 good tyres , 2 new track rod ends and aux tensioner , new fanbelt too and has just been serviced. currently has no road tax but can be sorted easily.
in good condition inside, has all the extras on , leather seats, AC, CC etc etc
the body has a couple of small dings and the odd small rust spot on.
has full service history up to 102,000 miles , as was owned by natwest bank for most of it's life.
What do you put a rough estimate on this car as ?
-
Is it a facelift?

Is it a facelift?
now that is very much the key question..either way, im afraid it wont be worth as much as it should be :(
-
no , it's an S reg , so not a facelift model. would keep it myself really but got a celica gt4 to run and insure too. so what would you put a rough valuation at ?
-
Without wanting to offend, not too much. Couple of hundred, perhaps 4, very dependant on condition.
-
..also depends on where you sell, ebay will get you bottom price, autotrader may get you more if you can put up with timewasters..
I personally think a bit higher than Broocie, but not much more... :(

Would be due cambelt etc at 120k miles, assuming done as per service records at 40k and 80k when in bank ownership.... Now circa 19k miles overdue, unless receipts etc to prove?
No mention of wishbones.
Normal carpark dings as per age.
Normal rust as per age - door tops and bottoms?
2.5 engine, not 3.0.
Auto/manual??
Tyres - el cheapo or premium make? Would think possible budget range.
Unless stupendous, would tend to stand with the few hundred upto 4, max 5 if receipts etc show required work already completed..... Remember, value based as per on sale here, not prepped for autotrader with good add etc.

I wouldn't want to upset anybody with how much i just sold my car for 8-)
-
not sure on the cambelt being replaced at 120k , yeh the normal carpark dings and rust is there. it's a manual version and tyres are avon zv3 and pirelli p6000's so not too cheapo!
would be hoping to get around the £750 mark really . so you think autotrader or the local paper is the best bet maybe for this sort of price as i can't accept £400 or so for it.

Don't like those Avon Zv3 tyres - they wear out too quickly
