Title: BAD STARTING
Post by: bones on 16 April 2009, 07:11:55
Hi !
I have a 2.2 omega on a 02 reg manual, i have no problems with cold starts or when it is at running temp.
But if i only take a short trip to bank or shops the car has problems starting and puts the light on the dash (car & spanner), the car runs without any problems while the light is on, you can turn the engine off and restart the light goes out.
Could anyone point me in the right direction to what this problem could be ?
CHEERS.. :'( :'(

I'll wager it's a faulty coolant or air intake temp. sensor, causing it to think it's colder than it is and over fuelling.

You may be right with faulty temp sensor.
Is there any tech2 blokes in ROTHERHAM that can help?

Think there are 3 or 4 Tech'2
Scotland = Hotel 21
Brackley = The Boy
Nottingham = Mark DTM
Hampshire = Kevin Wood
