Got an annoying fault, that everytime i switch off the ignition, the alarm bleeps (chirps) for 5 or 6 times.  any ideas if it's suppost to do this, or if it is faulty ???

Aye, power sounder batteries have probably spewed their load over the internals of the power sounder. Take it off, cut it open, decide whether or not you want to repair it, and if not, decide whether you want to replace the power sounder, or just not have one.
