Title: Knocking from rear
Post by: RobG on 19 April 2009, 11:59:51
As thread title. When driving on fairly even roads getting a knocking from rear similar to front droplinks. Hit a rut and I get a loud bang. Rear shockers are OK. Both rear springs are in one piece (changed in the last 6 months and double checked). Trailings arms are OK. No play on donuts. I`m thinking maybe rear anti-roll bar droplinks. When the front droplinks are shot more often than not no visual wear or play can be seen/felt Is this the case with the rears. Any advice guys  :-/

Have you checked the forward mounts for the rear trailing arms?????
You have to remove a triangle plate to see them??

look at the zorst as well - could be moving around a bit.  check the boot for assorted stuff: jack etc, could be moving around

can think of much else to come loose really  (unless its the diff - bolts are tight after the sring change arn't they?
