Title: estate wanted
Post by: Khyber on 21 April 2009, 15:13:43
Hi! I'm still looking for as recent as possible top-of-the-range 3.2 estate. Can the price quoted in the ad below be regarded as a serious one? Seems rather on the high side to me, especially for the milage. I'd appreciate the advice of aficionados.

Thanks & here's hoping to join the ranks of the Omega owners!

If it's this one (http://www.preloved.co.uk/fuseaction-adverts.showadvert/index-2000028797/7bb15be2.html) - at nearly 5k (!)  :o :o then it's too much, but some people will be prepared to pay it if they have the budget and consider it worthwhile spending the money.

There was a huge thread about a bloke selling a mig for a load of money recently, I've no wish to start THAT up again.  :)

Advert points in the general direction of Mr. Budden. Reports are that he gives very good customer service and I know from experience that he doesn't budge far under negotiation.

At 100k+ that is even pushing it by his standards I think.  :o

Knock a zero off the mileage and maybe someone'd bite.
