Title: oil cooler plate

to be clear, when you put the sealant on the cooler plate do you smear it all over every touching surface or in just the grooves of the cooler plate

I run a 4-5mm bead all round the plate with it sat in the grooves (where they are).

It needs to be a continuous bead
