Hi, Just took my elite for an MOT and it has failed on emissions.
" Exhaust emissions carbon nonoxide content after 2nd fast idle excessive". Told by the tester to try a can of petrol injector cleaner in the fuel tank and take it back for re-test in the morning. If that fails it may be the lambada sensor. Any idea how much these may cost as i'm quite chuffed (at the moment) in a way that is all it has failed on.
Thanx.

Genuine lambda about £95 on trade card. Rarely fail. I`d suggest taking it for a motorway thrashing just before the re-test. Sometimes does the trick :y

Cheers RobG. That's what the bloke in the car shop said when i bought some injection cleaner today. Just in case it didn't work i asked how much new sensors were. I was told after looking up in the parts book around £49 each. Fingers crossed all i need is the £14 i paid for the cleaner. :y
