Title: idle control sensor

i had a idle control sensor fitted at a back street garage they used a non vauxhall part it lasted 2 days always use genuine parts

There is no such thing as an idle control sensor!

Was it a crank shaft potion sensor?

It'll be either the IACV or Crank/Cam sensor, more likely one of the latter.

Or throttle position sensor!

IACV is not a sensor.....and if the breathers etc were not cleaned and sorted then the same will ahppen again
