Can anyoe tell me where the starter motor is situated on a 3.0 1999 MV6??

Drivers side - connects to the flex plate...

Ahh ok. If im right its situated on drivers side of engine bay just above engine mount and just below manifold.

How easy/hard a job to change and is the 2.5lt the same as a 3.0??

yes its the same for the 2.5/3.0
