hiya,
i`m thinking of buying a 2.5 auto on LPG, i know i used to get about 80 miles from a £20 with my 3L auto,
has anybody got a 2.5 auto on gas to advise me on what i could expect to get to the gallon and what faults to look for.
many thanks Paul

I have the 2.2, i get upwards of 23mpg on LPG if i am sensible and around 31mpg on petrol, mine is an auto box.

I have 2.5 auto on LPG,my tanks 90ltrs but only fills to 80ltrs due to safety feature,filled up last Wednesday cost £28 and roughly get 250-300miles to a full tank(urban driving probably get more on a run). :y :y :y :y :y :y :y

My 3l does a comfortable 300 to 72L of gas... Mixture of town and fast A driving. On a sensible run I saw over 350 miles with gas in the tank still!!!
2.5 sill probably be about the same TBH.
Check thoroughly it is a Sequential system and that the coolant feed is taken from before the HBV :y :y

Right...
Standard Omega checks to begin with. Paperclip it etc...
The switch will have lights and the seller will show you how it works. Once it's running on gas you should be able to hear/feel the LPG injectors working.
Do you know what make of system it is?

dont know what make it is, i had the prefacelift model with everything electric but alot of the gadgets didnt work so i will be checking them, this one is the face lift model .
