Title: misfire

hello there you lot,  can you help me???????? had a mig for 2 months now and it has started playing up rotten, first of all it was misfiring when i floored it, so i changed the dis pack, cured it, now misfiring constantly had new plugs and lead since and still misfiring. has been in the garage 3 times in the last week and half. i love this car but think i was had in when i bought it and its only done 82,ooo miles too please help me as i dont wanna see it scrapped.

hello there, yes there was a little bit of oil but not a great deal.the mechanic found that cylinder 6 lead was split changed it, i then took the car out it was fine but within 20 mins it was back to normal and tick over was just about ticking over

Cam covers can leak oil into the plug wells and cause a missfire and break up the dis pack

well i travel to minehead every week but it looks like i aint going this wkend, if the car aint done tomorrow i will take it away from the garage tomorrow misfire or not, its doing my head in looking at an empty driveway every night. i want my mig back f--kin pronto

Check for oil in the plug wells :y
