Title: How do I read fault codes on my omega + identify?
Post by: jampot1979 on 01 May 2009, 20:06:46
Been searching on here on how to read the fault codes on my 2002 omega. I havent had much luck finding the guide. Also once I find the codes, is there a chart on here to tell me what they mean?

Many thanks

James

alas not on the 2.2. Neither the pedal trick or paper clip test will work on that engine. You need a code reader, tech 2 is most comprehensive, or one of the other much cheaper options.

if you tell us your location there  maybe a Tech II Equipped member near you or a  OBD 2 Code reader equiped member

they will be able to save you alot on garage diagnostic bills!

Fill in your profile with your rough location and we may be able to direct you to a tech2 owning member on here.
Edit
Hehe... Snap. :-)
