cant help you sorry ive never noticed that box on my 3.0 before intrigued to know what it does
-
Does it look like a factory fit? Any ideas as to where the wires coming from it go?
-
thinking about it, it doesnt fit very well and wobbles about abit, it is quite large tho and there are a lot o wires in the loom that go into it.perhaps its an old alarm system or something altho it would seem a bit big,i will try and trace the look see where it goes but theres not much room as you all know.
-
nothing like that on mine, although i have diff engine. Red and white wire dont look right either. After market alarm? Cant make out the exact shape of the box tbh...

Is it an ex plod?
-
not on LPG is it????
-
That is your Anti lock brake module. dont rip it out!

i dont think its ex plod and its not lpg. the red wire goes to my amp in the boot.i will try and get some light on the subject and get a better piccie

the ABS ECU is the big box with all the pipes going into it next to the battery and it says BOSCH ABS on top of it isnt it?

Yes, that is the Hydraulic part of the ABS, the module is the black box behind that
-
problem solved then.i have looked again with a light and i can see what looks like brake pipes going into the front part of the box with all the wires entering the rear part of the box.thanks
