hi seem to have oil leak nothing on ground when sitting but when running oil dripping at back of sump behind plug and also see some oil on sump bolts under alternater when looking in engine it is a 2.6 local garage said try forte stop leak any ideas what it could be and are these additives any good :'(

Is yours an autobox mate - could be atf from front gearbox seal!

yes autobox mate :y

are the forte additives any good :y

It's much more worthwhile fixing the leak than patching it with additives. Although they might seem to work to start with the original problem still remains and sometimes the additives do more harm than good.
Clean up all the oil on the underside of the car and wait for fresh leaks to appear; that way you can find where it's coming from. It might be something as simple as a cam cover gasket.

ok mate just money tight at moment :y :y

That's true; I understand.
However you won't know what to do until you know the source of the leak. Get some 'stuff' to clean up the manky oil and trace fresh oil back to the source of the leak.
As for what 'stuff' to get I can't remember what was recommended to me for a similar problem but it shouldn't cost more than about £10 for a can or two.
Have you looked down on the engine from above to try to find the leak?

yes cant see it only under alternater going on to sump bolts :y :y
