Title: I thought they would last forever

Hi all,
Strangest thing just happened to my miggy yesterday, ent for a drive at night to show off my HID lights on the road :) and after 1/2 hour driving when i was pulling in to a lay by my MID flashes something about lights, so i tought it must beone of those rear ones, for my surprise it was the Hid dipped beam on the driver side. You can all imagine the amount of swearing that ensued, so i turn on and off the lights a couple of times and nothing, drove off back home in a bad mood, when hold and behold the blasted thing came to life again. Has anyone came across with this?
and if its failing will it be expensive :-/?

Search for HID bulbs on this forum... Been covered and I think someone found a good source :y :y :y

By the way... Have you seen the East Anglian Meet in the meets section?

Sounds like a standard failing bulb.
