Title: omega dying problem

hi all just brought my 2nd omega the first one had for 6 years....just dropped on a w reg 2.5 cdx which is mint...but when i went on the test run it died ...lost throttle and stalled....3 times on the way back did the same......dealers mechanic said the fuel lines were full of crap cleaned them out and the pump and put a new fuel filter on it......i brought it yesterday 9-5-09...ran around init all day ....idleling a bit rought now and then......later on in the day it died again....after five minutes it started and ran then again no problems......just worried its gonna do it again......think it might be the icv....its w reg with 74k on it ....any suggestions good people out there??????? 8-) 8-) 8-) :( :(

Remove it, clean out with carb cleaner, then lightly oil and refit. :y
You may find you need to repeat this a few days later!
