Title: The Display Bit

the display shows 21mph with a square to the laft with a line through it even when the car is atationerry is this right ???

i don't understand? More information needed!

Some pixels could be missing on your display?  :-/

were the display shows constant mpg stopwach how many miles left ect
it shows mph too but mine says 21mph even when its stationery and never changes

average mph  press & hold .... er one of the trip buttons to zero it.

Yes, thats the average speed ;)

Press and hold the reset button, this will reset your average speed

so on avarage then im doing 21 mph & 21  ;Dmpg ......the mpg 1 definatly sounds about right

21mpg out of a TD? You got something wrong there.

Even the auto should get 30 easily

Thats another story mate ......its gettin a manual box & chip soon but 20 odd to the gallon is doing me head in as i do 300 milles a week  :'(

Even with standard chip and auto, should get better than that! I would try and figure the cause of the low mpg before changing bits.

Yes, thats the average speed ;)

Press and hold the reset button, this will reset your average speed

Reset your trip, average speed, and mpg too as well to get an accurate reading.

Also, if you display has ever been changed for a non TD one, then it won't be accurate.

The wiper stalk has 2 buttons on the end.... S & R. S = switch/scan through the screens, R = reset, hold it for 2 or 3 seconds on the average mph and mpg screens and it'll reset them :y
