Title: cooler pipes
Post by: unlucky mark mv6 on 10 May 2009, 20:24:25
does anyone know what happens with the transmission oil cooler pipes when converting to manual box.Do you cut them off or something, but then again i am led to believe the cooler is incorporated in the radiator, which means open ended pipes stiking out of the radiator.

Disconnect them, leave them dangling...makes no odds really.

The easiest is to the lopp the flexi section back where they (used to) join to the auto box section.

But you have a 3.2 where the transmission radiator is between air con radiator and the coolent radiator so just remove this blow pipes out and forget it.
