My exhaust system had a problem, clogged. I was told to change the or take off the catalytic converter. I did but vehicle does not run smooth a little jerks.
Should i service EGR, where is the EGR located.
I am the only one using a Miggy here in this country. The mechs do not have much knowledge of the vehicle. Guess i know much thanks to the forum.

EGR is cylindrical item, normally showing signs of rust, on the left side of plenum.
Cleaning out with paint stripper seems to be best method (or blocking completely, but this will increase NOX)

once filled with paint stripper, poor it out after an hour or so, and use carb cleaner + old tooth brush, that really cleaned my EGR out.
Still faulty though ;D
Going to give it 1 week, if it comes back, its being replaced :y

Same here Tunnie, mine is now showing feedback voltage low.
I'm going to try a 2nd hand one to eliminate it

Same here (low voltage) does not affect running though

True although i very occasionally get the emissions light on.
I can't clear the error either, it comes straight back every time.

What do you mean by Nox?

What do you mean by Nox?
NOX - Nitrous Oxide, out of the exhaust...

Thanks i never thought it was chemistry. So do i dismantle the EGR to clear it.
I will eventually go to Ghana and purchase a new line exhaust with the converters.

Just remove the two torx bolts that hold the EGR to the bracket, once removed (keep the metal gasket) there is what looks like an exhaust hole (its all sooty)
Just fill it with paint stripper

Will that be all, or there is addition service to do. Highly grateful
