Title: battery disconnection

hello all if i disconect my battery is there an alarm that will go off as i have been told there is a chance this could happen or is it just staight forward take them off and replace with a new battery

Your power sounder should go off if you don't disconnect the battery within 15 seconds (?) of the ignition being turned off ........
 or on ...... I can't rememeber  :-?  ::)  ::)  ;D

Just a point on this guys,dont know if it helps or not, but when i had the trouble with mine.....if you pull the plug on the sounder with the engine running it doesn't go off

sonikhead.

Just disconnect your battery and be aware the sounder goes for a bit - not long (excerise the ni-cads!)

-or-

ignition on, ignition off and disconnect battery within 15? seconds and all will be quiet.

PS watch out for the sounder when reconnecting???
