Title: '02 Omega 2.6 V6 Autobox 'Slippage'
Post by: BigTaf on 12 May 2009, 13:09:08
I have an '02 2.6 V6 Elite Auto with 132K, had some trouble with the autobox and had 'slippage' diagnosed and solution to the problem of  a exchange 'box at about £1,400.

Has anyone else come across this and have any ideas?

Cheers.

most autobox probs are down to the oil level so first check is to top it up if needed (see maintenance section)

if this doesn't help and the box is FUBAR then i'm sure one of the guys breaking migs on here will sell you a decent second hand box for a lot less that £1400 :o
