Hi, Well the omega 2.2 16v which I was given passed its mot... just.

Has one advisory:

Front discs/pads 75% worn. Is it an easy diy job?

dead easy, have a look in the maintenance section, there's a how-2-do there.  :y  :y
Best using OE discs, pattern discs tend to warp.  :y  :y  :y

As said...

It is not clear however if the discs are also worn, or only the pads? You may get away with replacing just the pads if the discs are OK - the pads alone are just over a tenner.
