The old mig needed an MOT at short notice and I did not have a lot of time to prep her. I found that the rear shocks were in a bad way and as i was checking a small pin hole opened and that was that :' after a few phone calls to auto factors who could not help i rang the main dealer who said £126 each and would have to order. Did not have time for that so went up to Heathrow area and got a good pair of secondhand one's from Omega Spare Parts. Had them fitted on Wednesday when they did the MOT (IT PASSED) but and here is the thing they said Rear suspention to be set by customer as required, and rear shock pipes in poor condition.(have today put them on order) AM I MISSING SOMETHING. Do i have to set them or just check that they are working when with high load :-?

As long as the small air lines/pipes aren't split or damaged & hold pressure when the system pumps up ....... that's it. The level switch on the driver's side radius arm is what the system uses to determine the height it pumps to. Fully automatic system. :y
