Title: Where is the engine temp sensor......

On a 2.5 V6? My gauge seems to 'wobble about', never seen that before. It can be at 100 then drop down to 95 in ½ a second, like a little windscreen wiper! Never seen that before hence  the check on the sensor and it's wiring.

Its at the rear of the valley screwed into the coolant bridge. Has a single lucar type connector on it
