Am helping a member soon.
We need a DIS but can't be sure which one.
Car is a W reg, 3.0 V6. It will be the later, oval type connector - but dealers are saying there are three types of DIS. Now it won't be the older square type connector, but - Is there any way I can find out which part is needed? Anyone know what part number DIS I'd need, for a W plated 3.0?
I really need to order it today!

James ive got an oval here mate its a genuine worker didnt need it as it was my leads that were shaged
my MV6 99 is an oval ive got a theory that if the MAF has an oval connector then the dispack is also oval
if the maf is square then the dis pack is usually square
p/n of my oval is 0 221 503 017 its a genuine vx bosch part deffinatly works as ive tested it in the car and it didnt missfire atall

There are 3 types.....the very early vertical type (it wont be that!)
Then the one qith the rectangulr connector (it wont be this one either) and the oval one (which it will be at that age)

no worries mate Baylis problably have an oval one in the chelt stealer
they seem to have lots of omega bits in cheltenham
