The F on Range is probally a gearbox sensor to the MID. Or Someone in its prevoius life has swopped the MID from a Auto into a Manual or vise versa.

What happens when you fill it up with fuel?, does it show 0 range before going to F.

F on range is something to do with the fuel level sensor :y

I had the same problem a couple of years back sure it was the MID though

Agreed, but Ive had this on incorrect MID swop outs, as well as gearbox sender, which is what I would confirm first  :y
