I have my MOT Saturday an have a blown bulb but can't get the headlamp unit out to replace it. It's the very small dim bulb in the headlamp unit itself on passenger side. I have a 2002 MV6 with zenons.
I've undone the top two bolts securing the headlamp....are there any other out of sight as it won't come out?
Cheers
Neil

you dont need to get the headlamp out.
just remove the rubber cap off the back and pull it out.
Assuming you mean side / parking light bulb.

Yeah, that's the one Jim, but there's not enough room to get to it i don't think?????
I'll go try again, lose a bit more skin off the knuckles! :(

Neil, slacken the battery clamp and slide the battery back a bit. It'll give you a bit more room for your fat little fingers ;) ;D :y

Fiddly, but not a problem
Ive changed all bulbs at some point, only ones I needed extra on were HID bulbs themselves, which I did by removing airbox / battery

just to add that there is a 3rd bolt that holds the headlight unit in, its at the bottom & on the pre-facelift & can be got at by taking off the headlight lower trim & a 1/4 drive long extension with 8mm socket, not sure how easy it is on the facelift though.
