On the way back from work today I noticed the temp was 100 degrees stopped opens the bonnet hers what I found
As you look at the radiator just below the top hose there is a temperature sensor (screw in type) that’s weeping (more if I push it to the left) is this realistically reparable as the ends of the radiator are plastic ….the leak is very slight I would estimate the car uses a pint of Water a day …I do have a manual radiator but it doesn’t have the ATF cooler on the left hand side I am planning to convert the car to manual in a month or so ….anone any ideas of a good fix for now ?
Thanks again

Araldite Rapid

epoxy putty will do it :y

I'd buy a new seal for it from Vauxhall for 50p or whatever. Dowty washer type thing instead of copper washer these days.
I think the part number might be 24427589. :)

PTFE tape the thread

Just to add as the original post wasn't quite clear, if it's leaking because the seal has failed then another seal or PTFE tape will do.
If it's leaking because the plastic has actually developed a small crack for whatever reason, Araldite Rapid (epoxy resin) will hold it no problem.
