Title: Starting Problem ( it won't)
Post by: cleggy on 21 May 2009, 13:23:11
Here's the story:- For the last couple of days I took the dogs for their morning walk, and when getting back to the car it wouldn't start only turn over, come back 10 minutes later, and it starts like a dream ,and continues to do so all day. I just found it stange that it was occurring after the same short journey, and parked in the same position. Same again this morning only this time it just turned over. PEDAL TRICK CODE 0335 ( Crank Shaft Position Sensor 'A' Circuit Malfuction). Went to pick the car up with assistance and it started, got it home, and it now sits on the drive just turning over.
What does this code mean in simple english? What caused it? and what is the cure?
All assistance gratefully received.

breaked crank sensor, down by oil filter. Replace only with genuine ASAP otherwise it will completely die on you when you don`t want it to :y
Look here http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1174321688 :y
As to what causes it. The sensor rarely fails, it`s the wiring that get`s toasted due to the route VX uses  :-X
