Not really investigated properly - but - My aircon compressor still won't fire up - clutch seems to stay still with climate on or off
Checked the electrical connectors, and can't see any obviously blown fuses.
Any ideas? :y

Just to add - this is mainly only a pain because idle is a tad low, and occasionally she hunts...
-
Gas pressure?
-
does your outside temp sensor work?

Seized.

James - pull plug on a/c compressor. Put 12v across compressor terminals (observe correct polarity) - you should hear clutch engage with a clunk. If no clunk clutch breaked. If clunk look elsewhere.

Far more likely low on gas....

sorry to hijack your thread, I have the same trouble, the compressor wheel turns freely however when you switch the aircon on it stays still, is there a relay that swithes over when the you switch the aircon on? if so where is it?, just a thought before spending £65 plus for a regas?
Steve.

All respectable a/c places can measure gas pressure before committing to vac and refill
