Title: airlocked - how to bleed?
Post by: rancido64 on 31 May 2009, 06:01:39
Hey everyone,

it's looking like the coolant system on my omega is airlocked, but i can't find a bleed nipple anywhere?

Don't suppose anyone has a picture of where it is or could explain it to me?  :)
Also, more a matter of interest than anything else, how much coolant does the omega system hold?

Thanks in advance,
Phil

Don't think you will find a bleed nipple mate, you need to leave off the reservoir cap whilst running the car from cold, squeeze the hoses whilst warming  :y
The coolant is around 9 litres so when totally empty of coolant pour 5litres of anti freeze in then top up with water :y
(I am talking about V6's so I assume 2.0's are the same)
