Title: HBV in a 4 pot
Post by: Chopsdad on 31 May 2009, 21:15:37
My HBV gave up this weekend and I've read the huide for a V6 but I reckon it could be done from below with the wheel off on my 2.2 without the need to dismantle the scuttle etc.

Is it possible?

Can't help you, sorry but can you point me to the V6 guide you mention, I haven't found one yet and there's nothing in the Haynes!

Word has it that it's a tricky job..?

Would it be worth the hassle when the scuttle moves out of the way (leave screen washers connected) after a Torx headed self taper & half a doz or so half turn clips & both wipers have been removed?  :-/  :y

Many thanks Andy B, honestly I searched the forum and only got 2 hits, one of which was my other thread about this problem...

Ok I'll do it the "easy" way - I bet Tunnie could get at it with his gadget like arms  ::)
