Title: MOT Failure
Post by: swiss on 02 June 2009, 09:02:20
Hi peeps.

Her indoors took the 2.5 in yesterday. Front discs and all four pad sets need replacing. But it also scored 7 on emissions, so I'm going to do the air and fuel filters and chuck some cleaner in there.

Meanwhile, would you experienced Omega chappies recommend an Italian tune-up on this engine? It got my 406 through a treat. How would this manual driver go about thrashing an autobox?

Thanks guys

Tom

[EDIT]

Can anyone suggest please whether this (http://www.autovaux.co.uk/LoadPortal.aspx?cnum=58&pnum=AS91149684&tabid=5&vnum=141) and this (http://www.autovaux.co.uk/LoadPortal.aspx?cnum=59&pnum=AS93183042&tabid=5&vnum=141) are right for the 2.5 Beamer diesel? The descriptions aren't very specific :(

I take it your on about the Diesel 2.5....
In which case change the filters and put some Diesel Forte in the new filter then take it for a run, then all should be well :y
