Title: The spanner symbol came on then went off???

What does the little spanner symbol/light mean when it comes on? It went off the next time i started the car.

That is probably engine management light, did you try to drive the car when the simbol was on?

Not saying your car will be the same.

But I had this problem on mine.

cleaned out breather pipes from the rocker cover, and seamed to cure the problem ?. Could it possibly be the EGR valve need cleaning - Anyone think it could be this as well ?.
