Title: Up-rated Std height front springs
Post by: Turk on 06 June 2009, 15:11:20
Any links to, or suggestions for heavy-duty, standard height front springs ?  Ideally just a pair for the front. Everything I find seem to be lowered. I want to keep it standard ride height but up-rated.

What about a pair of TD-specific ones from 'Good ol' Nige'?

Recently fitted a pair of Kilens supplied by him, and the tractor now stands up nicely. Camber is spot-on, it handles nicely, and (most importantly!), Mrs Sethsmate's content with it.

As you're aware, although it's annual mileage is modest, it gets a fair ragging around the local Alps!

The ones I'm changing are the ones I had from Nige's  last year. They're just too soft.  Not bottoming out but very wallowy. Damping is ok, new KYB's all round. Maybe they weren't TD specific that I had.
I've got 40mm lowered on my Elite and for handling (and looks) it's spot-on, but I'm keeping the CD as standard ride height, just want to stop the pitching and rolling.
